The Men’s Long Jump final at the 2024 Africa Military Games in Abuja delivered a thrilling display of athletic prowess, with Algeria, Ghana, and Burkina Faso emerging as the top performers.
Algerian athlete Boudoumi Dhiaecheerif secured the gold medal with a leap of 7.54 meters, narrowly edging Ghana’s Otchere Yeboah Mensah, who recorded 7.53 meters to take silver.
The competition was fierce, with only 1 centimetre separating the top two finishers.
Burkina Faso’s Loue Yacouba claimed the bronze medal with a commendable jump of 7.29 meters, rounding out the podium in an event that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
