With gates opening at noon, the vibrant ceremony promises to set the tone for two weeks of exceptional athletic performances, camaraderie, and cultural exchange.
The opening ceremony will showcase Africa’s rich heritage, featuring colourful parades, military displays, and captivating performances, including a special appearance by Nigerian music icons Olamide, Yemi Alade, Timi Dakolo and D’banj.
The free-to-attend event aims to foster collaboration and unity among 42 participating nations competing across 19 sports.
